    Interestingly, I'm getting a ridiculously large amount of connection requests from various ip addresses.

    I'm assuming it's got something to do with torrents, given the ports that are being listed... anyone have any thoughts?

    i get a avg of 11ms on 83.147.165.1
    and i get some packet loss on the second one.

    Btw ive noticed chaz that my speed to the US is very small like 200-600k.
    And the irish isp test seems to have high pings, could it be their servers?

    Wow 11ms to 83.147.165.1. I'm getting an average of 54ms. Should i be getting lower pings to that address i wonder?

    The IrishISP test page doesnt seem to be holding up well these days - seems they been maxed out often and results are not as accurate as tehy used to be.

    chaz, im gonna sign up for metro in dundalk tomorrow, one quick question, have there been any of these issues in dundalk(packetloss etc.). Any gamers using the service in dundalk yet?

    Things look good so far, you might want to look into getting a digiweb forum here "commercial interaction" as komplett etc. have.

    anyway keep up the good cust service

    Today my metro bb is abysmal supposed to be 3Mbps is actually 1Mbps or less, pings all over the place. In fact I have never seen 3Mbps or anything around 300Kbps since getting it installed, I'm peed off to put it mildly and am inclined to think I had a more consistant connection with Esat, though slower Esat seems to be far more stable so far.

    Yesterday I noticed that calls seemed to be affected by my upstream packetloss aswell as my data connections.

    I could hear everything coming down the phone, but what I was saying was being 'interrupted' every 3rd or 4th word - in short, unusable

    Yeah mine was like that for a while but eventually came back to me so i could make calls.

    Couldn't even get a dial tone at one stage.

    Mine was like that Friday night,Could'nt make or receive calls but its been ok since.

    My connection seems to have declined still further this afternoon 500kbps should be 3Mbps the chap on support told me there was something wrong with my dish's ability to get a clear signal, this after a bloke spent 3 hours installing the system, I was told somebody would be out to my house in Cork city during the week to sort things out.

    Well I'm currently getting 2meg/430k so i suppose that's fair enough for a contended service.
    My P/L is still sitting at around 5/10% so gaming isn't possible, but they're still working on the issue.

    My phone seems to be back to normal now though, or atleast, if it's still experiencing P/L, it must only be happening between words :)

    Just wondering...what's the longest anyone has waited for Metro installation? I ordered 25/10. Still waiting on a phone call. Hope it's this week! Has anyone else waited 3 weeks or more?
