Sokoban

Anyone know anything about Sokoban?? I just d/l'd a game of this for my phone and it seems it is f'king huge in Japan. I think it is a Japanese kids game but it is super addictive, it's a kind of logic puzzle but it's ultra tricky and addictive (but also a bit frustrating) Just wondering if anyone knows anything about them?

I've seen puzzles like it before... never knew what it was called though.
Similar to lots of puzzle games I've played on C64 or Spectrum yonks ago..
