Iaudio x5l 30gb memory full!?!?!

Im having a problem and hopefully someone can help... My iaudio is telling me that the memory is full, but there is no way that can be true. I only have about 900 songs on it so far, a few photos and about 10 30second videos. Any idea what could be up with it?? Trying to put more music on it now and it keeps saying memory…
