Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but it seems to be the most appropriate...

    Have any of you lot, played Shattered Galaxy at all? It's a massively multiplayer RTS from a company in the USA called Nexon - hasn't got a European release yet, but I nabbed a copy off one of the developers at ECTS last week, and it's *really really good*.

    Takes a bit of time to build your forces up to the stage where you can actually make an impact on a full-scale battle (I can now actually do some proper damage with some of my squads, although I need to get another player to supply anti-aircraft support as my strongest units are Abominations and they're ground combat only) but it's a really satisfying experience taking part in the large-scale combat, and there's millions of factors to tweak on all your units and so on, which makes for a really in-depth experience.

    Plays like a hybrid of Starcraft and Diablo more than anything else... Well worth checking out, and if any of you are already on there, I'm playing for the Isha faction under the handle of EEDShinji. :)

    Shattered Galaxy is available worldwide if you have a credit card.

    The game was released on 23rd august last, if you buy online you get some game cards that allow you to get specialist units, In game you can get help from other players, who will guide you thru all the different ways to gain "XP" experience points, which basicly run the game. as to armys there are 4 factions on each planet, sometimes 5 or six but usually only 4 factions there are about 15 planets so far with new ones being found all the time there is no ceiling as to how many players in the game at anytime but 50k is the most ever online at one time, the maps are varied and to gain better levels is really up to you, the more time online the better.. as to cost well the first month is free and after that its $10 per month.. check out these web sites.
