Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hat Tricks:
    Alan Shearer

Jimmy Floydd Hasselbaink for hat trick of hat tricks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,382 ✭✭✭Juan Pablo

Bennito Carbone is correct. The final player of the 5 club question would have been celebrating new year over the past few days.....

Still two remaining players, both who would have started their carrers in England and have had a stint on the continent. Both are still currently playing for Premiership clubs.......

Peter Bonetti for England, no idea of the other two.

    Ireland - Terry Mancini

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,382 ✭✭✭Juan Pablo

Mancini and Bonetti are both correct, well done. The Welsh player was a goalkeeper, and has had a succesful carrer as a goal keeping coach.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,382 ✭✭✭Juan Pablo

Ok, he has played for Everton and Wrexham and has been a coach at both Arsenal and Chelsea in recent times. He still coaches in the Premiership with a team managed by one of his countrymen.

Thats a hard one, was it somethin like the IFA cup as back in the day the whole country played in the same leagues n cups, not like nowadays.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,473 ✭✭✭Roddy23

What was the original name of the FAI cup?

Clue: you've got to be thinking along the lines of what was happening in Ireland around the time it was first played.
