Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think its a good idea.. but shouldn't some words be restricted to be put into the box.. ie. mine, I'll leave it up for a day for an admin to notice.

I don't just mean words like Administrator, Guest, Moderator, etc. Obscene or distasteful descriptors should be watched for closely and dealt with appropriately. Here's a little anecdote (vaguely related)- last night on the RaDoX DoD server(which I admin) there was some obnoxious jellied jackanape calling himself "Piss Down Islam's Throat" I have no idea why I didn't permanent ban him on sight- but after demanding that he change his name, he flamed me for being a "Pakkie-lover" and left the server. Needless to say he's perm-banned now. But it illustrates the possible abuses of the system. Moderators abusing it doesn't worry me- they're always easy to have a dig at, so tend to keep themselves in line (well, except Eamo, but we keep him on because we all like his avatar and special smiley).
