FF VII stats/battle mechanics

Heyya,

I'm just writing to see if there're any resources out there where I could find out roughly how the stats work in battles in Final Fantasy - particularly number 7.

I'm trying to figure out what the different stats mean, particularly how they interact with each other in battle... and google wasn't exactly helpful.

So does anyone know of anywhere where I can dig out how the battle works?

Do you mean the things like Agility, dexterity, strength,Luck, etc ???
Theyre pretty simple, in that agility would determine the speed your ATB timers would fill up,Higher luck would give you a better chance of hitting enemies,higher strength allows for greater hit with weapons.

On www.gamefaqs.com there is an faq about the logarithms used in calculating stats and effects for FF1. I doubt this has changed much for the newer games.
