    Hi,
New to this lark, so I was mucking around connecting the PC to d'telly.
Problem is with DIVx movies I'm playing. They are encoded @ 640x352 and look stretched on a 4:3 CRT. On the PC monitor with powerDVD, the image adjusts with black bars top and bottom, however, on the TV the image is stretched vertically. With powerDVD, DVD movies display fine on TV.
    Where am I going wrong?
I fiddled with output display settings to the TV, so I have tried VGA, SVGA and XGA resolutions.

    Cassiel

Try something with more control for playing divx on your TV like zoomplayer or bsplayer, they both have a number of ways to correct aspect ratio problems.
