XPath & Java

I want to mess about with xpath, to get familiar with it. What is the best way, I am in a Java environment but am not a whizz. Is there a jar out there with an api that would let me process some xml files?

Look here for an article entitled "XML document processing in Java using XPath and XSLT ", http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-09-2000/jw-0908-xpath.html .You can use DOM or SAX parsers to process your xml documents via JAVA.The difference between DOM and SAX is that dom parses the xml file and stores a representation of the file in memory, you then traverse this object and manipulate your xml file as neccessary. SAX dosent do this.Instead it is an event driven process. You tell it what to do, when it encounters an element or an attribute etc.
