Ok, i got this in my email in the last few days. i just wanted to know what people thought of it.
as far as im concerned its a bit dodgey as it asks you to go in and verify credit card details etc.

which i am obviously not going to do through some link.

anyway, ive changed my ebay password etc, and just wanted to know what people thought about it.

Yup, this is common scam #1 right now.
    Just ignore it tbh.
Alternatively you could report it to ebay, but they can't really do much to stop this sort of thing.

Obviously you have the right idea, in never following a link to a site and entering your details. Even if the link looks like www.ebay.com , it is still probably a hoax.

Any (non marketing) email from ebay now contains your name/registered user-name which should go someway to making things more secure. Also anything they send you will also show up in "My Messages" in "My Ebay".

There is one from PayPal as well so be careful - have recieved them loads of times - looks real but eBay will never ask you to do that through e-mail. they will send you something via internal eBay mail.
