Now that Eircom have released their exhorberent ADSL prices, does anyone know of any alternatives to the Eircom supplied modems?

I wouldn't be expecting them in the shops for while yet. It was a least two months after Eircom released "Hi-Speed"(LOL) that ISDN modems began to appear in retail store in Ireland. Maybe if you check
www.maplins.co.uk they might have alternative ADSL modems as there based in the UK with a shop in Dublin.(There mail order also)
but i think you'll have to wait a while my friend:)

They are on Jervis st. beside Smiths the big toy store.

I was actually more asking what was available internationally. Ireland has always found itself wanting when it comes to high-store electronics.
