Forget that we're winning 1-0. We're playing like utter rubbish against a team of chumps! If Ireland play anything like this on Wednesday we can forget about Germany. I hope Kerr gives them a right bolloking at half-time. Bad as we've been in this campaign I think we've somehow managed to find a new low with this 45minutes. Take those two muppets Kavanagh and Dunne off right now!

PS: RTE picture if f-d up. It's cutting off the near touchline for some reason. Just watch it on Setanta (but turn off the sound so you don't have to listen to the IceCreamMan tho!).

Shocking display and yet again the irish players don't seem to trust their own abilities. They are playing far too direct when we just need to get the ball and pass it. This is supposed to be an inferior team. Just wait for Giles, Brady and Dunphy. Should be fun.
The other problem is Kerr's cautious philosophy. Defend our 1-0 lead from 55 minutes on? I wouldn't be surprised.

We had a bright opening few minutes, with a few chances and then a goal. Since then hardly a decent attack! Given has man of the match at this stage with not another Irish player even close. Very disappointing. How often do we see this, Ireland scoring and then stop playing? Start playing again lads, like you did in the first 5 minutes.

Exaclty, its no big surprise that he is playing like he is, he was always been a great keeper, definitely in the top 3 in the premiership, just imagine how many clean sheets he would have for newcastle if they had a decent defense, saying that I think that he has already kept 4 out of 8 clean sheets for Newcastle this year already.
