Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    id say at best they could hope for is a draw. its hard to say what could happen on the night though, the place will be rockin' on the night though, hope its a good night for the fans regardless! Best fans in the world by far!

    My mate reckons he got 9-1 the other day that Cyprus wouldn't score in the first half with Boylesports. I can't see how that could be right and refuse to believe him until I see the slip.

    Incidentally, he had €50 on it he reckons so, if he's telling the truth, he's €500 better off!

    As regards backing the Swiss, might not be a bad idea particularly at 10/3! Remember this will be like a cup tie, Ireland have to win, so if its level going into the final ten minutes Ireland will have to pile forward looking to score, leaving us vulnerable to counter attacks. The Swiss exposed us before when we had to play that type of game!

    A good few quid might also somewhat ease the pain of going out of the WC.

    That's exactly my thinking. I've put a tenner on the swiss at 10/3.

    Not exactly on topic, but you may have missed the best remark on the night that came from the San Marino manager, after his side lost 3-0 to Bosnia & Herzogovina. "That game was a load of Bolic's!"

    (hint: a player called Bolic got a hat trick).
