SPAM from our domain!

I've recently been getting a lot of bounced mail in our catch all email account, and they seem to be SPAM bounces, so it looks like we're sending out spam but we're not, the address at our domain that the email is coming from would be something like - randomname@ourdomain.com

I've done a couple of ripe look ups and they seem to be coming from all over the place, from LA to spain to japan.

What can I do about these apart from closing the catch all and bouncing back mail?

You can't do anything apart from what you've already suggested. Google for "joe job".

I'm not sure if this would help in your situation.

But look into setting up SPF (Sender policy framework) on your domain and see if that has any effect.

SPF is suppoused to help stop spam and some of the big guys, Hotmail and I think GMail are using it already.
