Custom Titles?

I just noticed two members of the Boards, Renton and Jackass Have Moderator beside there name.
I thought this was banned as one of custom titles, or is this a problem with the community boards.

Renton isn't a mod of anything? Thought community boards had special moderator?

He appears to have 4 blue stars which would seem to suggest he does in fact have moderator Status.

gah, apparently only "No-lifes" & moderators can have custom forum titles... My old a/c and 950 posts and this one has 200, but that doesn't count

Im fairly sure Renton is the mod of the f2b boards, also i think Jackass is the mod of the HB boards, since he is the leader. But they arent there.
Ive check the list and he aint mod of anything.

We're going to revert back to the old names soon.
We have a MUCH better idea for new custom names that you arent going to like

One way to do it would be custom names that must be approved by owners (Dev, Cloud, et al) first, or maybe a restricted selection.

Oh no, you don't mean something like the somethingawful.com forums?

I think I read something saying "if you send me $10 I'll give you a custom title. If you give me $15 I'll change someone else's title. If you give me $20 I'll change your title and lock it against future changes"

Hey devore, think of the money you could make with all the muppets changing each other's titles

I like Rob's idea tbh, it's money for nothing! Money that can go towards making the community self-sufficient, if people want to waste their money on it fair enough
