Do TV sets come in black anymore?

Started looking for a new TV at the weekend. First time in over 10 years. Now, I'd noticed that most TVs are silver/grey these days but I could only find 1 in black!

I was looking for a 28" CRT or thereabouts and Dixons had a JVC on offer but I haven't found anything else. I don't want plasma or LCD yet (price vs quality doesn't stack up yet AFAIC)

Anyone know where I might have some more luck?

I'll have to wait until fashion comes full circle and black becomes the new silver.

Thanks formatman but I'm inclined to buy a brand new set, even if it's becoming old technology (and an old unfashionable colour )

Thats probably as close as you'll get. Although that pic looks like they coloured in the surround in ms paint, it looks much better in person. Picked one up as a b/day present for my dad for €899 a few weeks back.

afaik, most sonys are black, but it seems that as we move more towards LCD there are more black LCD/plasma screens than CRT tvs.

Also i think there are still most philips Crts that are black.

had the same dilema myself about a year ago whe we bought our new set.

in the end i gave up the search and settled on the silver. have to say im glad we did. i think it looks better now. maybe less intrusive in the room..
