Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No bad man. Liked the bassline at the start and it all sits well together. Probably a good set starter or a café bar type tune. Could maybe do with a more interseting mid section but overall not bad at al.
I'l be posting one of my own tunes soon enough so I'll looking forward to reaction myself :D

Its good. Although could be made more interesting. Doesn't sound finished imo. I no expert but I think it could do with some compression. The kick needs more presence

    What software did you use?

Agree with mordeith about the mid section could use a little extra

Do you need to be an expert to know what sounds good nowadays?

Not bad. Esoteric selection of sounds. Bit basic and possibly dated though.

Like your rant on the fools on soundclick as well. Jesus at least 60% of tracks in the various folders do not belong there.

tx for taking time out to have a listen folks!

    esoteric - yea, probably is.
maybe a lot of people just wouldn`t get it.
it`s just the sounds i`m trying to get at the moment.
maybe being influenced by what i`m listening to myself.

tis basic too, said that in the original post.
i don`t usually take too long to get something done.
just get a groove going.....you know yourself.wham, bam, thank you mam!

    was made with reason.
not anywhere near mastering the whole techniques,
maybe i should spend more time practicing and perfecting, eh?

also on the subject of soundclick - as i said i`m no Brian Transeau when it comes to production techniques but Christ Almighty!
everything on that site has a trance element to it!

    even the "hardcore techno"!!!

thanks for the feedback again folks!

    cheers,

    Mark.

No, but technically speaking you do!

    Mastering and all that...

Alot of things sound dated, as in four or five years ago.

Some of the most interesting electronic music has come out in the seventies
