    1st World Gamer Live Face 2 Face Event

    The first WGL event will take place in the GlenRoyal hotel in Maynooth, Co. Kildare on 29th October 2005.

    Event Details

    GlenRoyal Hotel, Maynooth Co. Kildare.
    October 29th 2005.
    Doors Open @ 10am until 9pm.
    Organised tournaments throughout the day
    Entry Fee - 20.00 (pre-pay), 25.00 at the door.


    World Gamer Live (“WGL”) was set up by console gamers to provide a platform for Clans and individual gamers to come together for organized tournaments both on line and “Face 2 Face” removing the shroud around gaming and providing a podium for the top gamers.

    World Gamer Live #1 is the 1st of four Face 2 Face console gaming tournaments by WGL in Ireland and is being hosted by The Wild Rovers, an Irish centric Gaming Clan. The event is targeted at X-Box, PS2 and PSP gamers that will compete across a broad range of games throughout the event winning prizes and earning World Gamer Live ranking points. The gamer with the most WGL ranking points by the end of the four events will be crowned WGL champion. The events goals are to provide a physical off line tournament for gamers and clans to play and compete in person.

    The events are aimed at off-line and on-line gamers so come along, meet our sponsors and find out how good you really are by competing in the following game tournaments for each console:

    PS2
    PSP
    Xbox

    Essentials

    Console(s) of choice - make sure your PS2 has a network adaptor.
    Television Set.
    Multi Plug Board.
    Games you wish to play.
