Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The "Dublin" (wicklow) Rebels would be seen as the best team in Dublin - having won the past 3 shamrock bowls its not hard to see why really.

We (marshals) are going to try and challenge for that title this year though so watch this space!

As for "any bother getting players?" ... you'd have to ring up the teams in question to find that out.

    Thanks.

Was thinking of hading to Dublin for college and was just wondering what teams there are close at hand.

    Do DCU have a team?

Yeah the DCU Saints are setting up there this year and will be playing this season. The Head Coach of the Ireland team is their Head Coach so they should have a pretty good set up aswell.

The Rebels play their home games in Greystones, but we train in Dublin (Booterstown) and most of our players are from Dublin. We used to train and play in Ringsend. The only reason we play in Greystones is because it was the best ground available for us. Not really fair to call us the "Dublin" (Wicklow) Rebels.

Iceman, your best bet is to go for the DCU Saints if you're going to college there. www.dcusaints.com (I think that's their website... if not, a google search will find it for you).

If you want to try out for the Rebels, pm me.

The only reason I said that was to point out geographically where you guys play, I was having this discussion with one of our players last weekend aswell so it was fresh in my mind.

Yeah, DCU will have a team, and were looking for new players.

Send me a PM, or email us at usfball@redbrick.dcu.ie if you're interested in getting more info.
