Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This Thursday October 13th we are proud to announce another debut Irish set,
this time in the shape of legendary German techno producer Richard Bartz.
There is little doubt that Bartz can be considered an important part of the
German electronic scene. As a producer and as the owner of the label Kurbel,
Bartz has constantly collaborated for the consolidation of a sound guided by
many different influences such as techno, house, electro and synthcore. His
Ghetto Blaster III release has rocked the floors of Europe this year while
his Gigolo album Midnight Man from late last year is still a staple in the
boxes of Hell, Heiko Laux, Johannes Heil and many others. He is regularly to
be heard playing at Cocoon in Ibiza and Frankfurt and has made appearances
at all the leading clubs across Europe. Bartz has an awesome live show that
we witnessed at Sonar a couple of years ago and ever since then we've been
on the case to get him to the Emerald Isle. Don't miss this chance to see
one of the true people of the techno scene rock the machines live at
    Electric City.

A regular of the electronic music clubs since the end of the eighties, Bartz
started his production career as co-producer on DJ Hell's album Geteert &
Gefedert, released by Disko B over a decade ago. At that time he became also
very much addicted to the raves, and started his Acid Scout project. His
first single, the classic 4 Degrees dates back to 1993 and the Safari album
which followed was released in 1994. Just one year after, he made another
long player, Sci-Fi, with strong techno and acid elements to fine effect.
One of his most appreciated EP's The Subway EP appeared on Berliner Heiko
Laux's label Kanzleramt in 1998 to devastating response from dancefloors the
    world over.

Bartz constructed a very impressive reputation on the live scene with an
awesome live show that has seen him travel to the four corners of the globe.
This stunning live show was captured on his groundbreaking album recorded
live from Cocoon in Ibiza. He followed up this live album with a studio LP
for Hell's Gigolo label called Midnight Man. Recent times have seen him
collaborate with Johannes Heil, Arthur Baker and Hell again for a series of
EP's for his own Kurbel label.

Support comes from man about town and Lance Armstrong impersonator [we mean
he cycles like Lance and doesn't take loads of drugs like him] Skkatter.
Everyone's favourite trainspotting nerd will be playing tracks from his
chart underneath. While EC resident Giles Armstrong will be applying some
cold German minimal funk from the likes of Pan / Tone, Sikora and Carsten
Jost to the all new re-shaped dancefloor before Skkatter's set.
