Sony Have psp 2.50

Well, Sony has done it again.

2.50 has been released.

If I had my PSP in front of me now, I'd let you know what the new features are, but here's a list I got from psp-extreme:


Streaming Video Support

Unicode support in the Browser with automatic Encoding Detection

Save your text size settings in the Browser

Save your Browser input history (URLs)

Videos with DRM can be played

NTP (Network Time Protocol) support

WPA and PSK have been added to network setting
Korean input keyboard method
Worth the update? Perhaps. I'm personally waiting for SWF and Java support (Could be a while).

Those are like so totally not a good enough reason to upgrade from a 1.50

agreed! have had the downgrader for a while but was to lazy to do anything with it so i spent the day doing it and getting some homebrew kits and what a kick it is! the amount of things that i can now do has go up by about 80% using wifijukebox at the moment and its great.
That said if java support came with an update i might just upgrade

wont be upgrading for gta because the WAB version changer will probably get an update to get around that

the streaming video is seemingly only available in america and im not sure but japan too, but the price is sround 200 or more dollars for it, i think:P
but if the streaming video is available in japanm that would mean that if you have the jap psp you get avail of it, alhtough i am not updating, unless gta requires it
