Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bios
Stealth Engineering http://www.stealthengine.com

First contact was via technology - instant messengers, electronic mail and
bulletin boards. Such is life in the new millennium. A shared interest
in a
Futurist soundscape assured the meeting of minds. Abstract
acquaintances through obscure Internet handles were to lead to actual
life friendship. The genuine mutual respect for each other's output
guaranteed this outcome before even the members of Stealth Engineering
were to realize it themselves.

Stealth Engineering is the wayward project of three record labels and
their recording studio. Seeking to present their music in an
interesting and dynamic environment. Bringing a mixture of considered
studio techniques with impromptu and spontaneous composition to the
club experience.

Yeah well, enough of the pretentious crap! We're four guys having a
laugh making noise with computers, instruments and various bits of
studio hardware. Call it contemporary, call it live electronics,
whatever the **** Its just heavy tunage!

Stealth Engineering are:

D. Campbell - Delinquent Dialect (Templedog Records)
P. Noble - Dr Skunkenstein (Electrolab Records)
D. Froud - clone Theory / Heuristic Audio (Polymeresearch Records,
Satamile
Records)
A. C. Hill - clone Theory (Polymeresearch Records, Sonic Kitchen Studios)

Magnetize <http://www.magnetize.biz/> http://www.magnetize.biz/

Magnetize is a singular entity presently based in Ireland who has been
making and playing music for the last ten years originally at his own
clubnite bling.bling and since at many others.

Releases to date have come on compilations from Neuromantek, the
Dublin Electronic Arts Festival and two Lps on Rimbaud Records. The
first of these, 'Biome', released in 2004, is made up of a layered
tapestry of textures, ranging from drones and soundscapes to looped
guitar sounds and radio-wave static. It has been described -

"Biome crackles with the high energy of cosmic radiation filtered
through a particle accelerator hotwired to an amplifier....it turns
out to be a superb disc of sound captured and reconstituted from the
frontiers of chaos..."
- Aural Innovations.

"Here's an album with a nice line in knowingly esoteric exercises in
soundscape exploration, but not at all in a chin-stroking,
weirdy-beardy, 'aren't-I-****ing-clever' manner"
- Collective Zine.

"Biome could just be some of the best spooky space music you'll hear
all year"
- Gaz-eta Newspaper.

The second Lp 'Live@Lazybird' (only available in limited quantities
directly from Rimbaud Records) is a live recording of an 'Audio based
brainwave entrainment' session which involved extensive usage of the
concept of 'Binaural beats' - auditory responses which result from the
interaction of two different auditory impulses, originating in
opposite ears meshing in and out of phase. Synchronized brain waves
have long been associated with meditative and hypnogogic states, and
audio with embedded binaural beats has the ability to induce and
improve such states of consciousness.

October 2005 sees the release of a dark dancefloor electro ep,
'Anti-chord', on renowned uk electro label Templedog. very limited
white labels have been in circulation throughout the summer and are
receiving support from Bassjunkie, Heuristic Audio, Decal, Drexciyan
Dj Stingray and others.
The official launch for this Ep will be at DEAF on 28th Oct as part of
the Undercurrent showcase at which Magnetize will be playing live -
expect a unique flavour of dark atonal funk.

I am an exit (Iterate) -- http://www.i-am-an-exit.com

"i am an exit" is the new project from Chymera (aka Brendan Gregoriy).
The debut Chymera album was released in May to critical acclaim,
encompassing downtempo to deep, broken techno, and concentrating on
organic "listening" music. The concept for "i am an exit" is slick,
melodic techno aimed mainly at the dancefloor. An anonymous post with 6
new tracks on a few internet forums resulted in well over 5000
downloads of the EP since July. It was also featured on De:bug, a
popular German webzine. For an idea of what to expect, listen for
yourself at

Northstation ( Risc) http://www.stevefanagan.com/

Northstation is Dublin musician Steve Fanagan. Steve began recording
as Northstation in 1999, when he provided the soundtrack for a
collection of short films. 2001 saw the release of the first
Northstation album `plink.plonk', a collection of songs originally
compiled for the din sound exhibition. This was followed by some live
performances. In 2003 Steve began work on the `Bears' album, which was
released in July 2004, on risc records. Since releasing Bears,
Northstation has gigged extensively playing alongside many and varied
musicians and played as part of the Mór festival in 2004. Work is
nearing completion on the third Northstation album, due for release
early next year. Steve currently works as a sound engineer and
releases music under several different names. He also runs a small
independent label called Slow Loris.
