Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Premier Division

    Bohemians v Finn Harps
    Bray Wanderers v Waterford United
    Cork City v Drogheda United
    Derry City v Shamrock Rovers
    St. Patrick’s Athletic v U.C.D.
    Longford Town v Shelbourne

    Division 1
    Athlone Town v Cobh Ramblers
    Monaghan United v Kildare County
    Dublin City v Dundalk
    Kilkenny City v Limerick
    Sligo Rovers v Galway United

Some big games this weekend in the premier divison. None bigger than St Pats Vs UCD :p .

Bohs Vs Harps : With the recent specualtion that the BIG club are in finacial trouble, supposedly owing the revenue commish €500k, and the talk that players are being paid bonueses, could work in Harps favour. They are back bottom, and with Dolan having come on board at Waterford, its going to be a scrap for Harps. I fancy them to get a 0-0 here.

Bray Vs Waterford : Bray are beginning to look over their shoulders at the mo, and a win ere for the blaas could go open up the relegation issue big time. Bray have not been picking up many points recently, while Waterford had a big win against Bohs the last tiem out. I fancy them to make it two in a row and win this 0-1.

City Vs Drogs : What to expect here. These games are either crackers, or awful turgid affairs. City are missing Joe Gamble for a few eeeks through an ankle injury. This could be vital. Im going for a comfortable 3-0 for City here.

Derry Vs Shams : Who can bet against Derry getting another late goal to get all 3 points here? Shams ran them close a few weeks ago, and i fancy them to take a 1-1 draw here (i think thats blind hope rather than belief mind you!).

SPA Vs UCD : A cracker in store here. UCD are all but safe, Pats are in trouble. A loss here, and a Waterford win would have them in the thick of it. I think UCD will win this 0-2.

Longford Vs Shels : Cant see anything other than a convincing Shels win here. 0-2.

As for the 1st division, well, Sligo should win against a poor Galway side. Cobh should take all 3 at Athlone, while hopefully CHF and Dundalk will play out a draw. The rest only have pride to play for really.

Nutsy picked himself up a (further) 4 game ban and €1000 fine today. Very lenient if you ask me.

    Dublin city vs Dundalk

A dundalk win all depends on ir ger mccarty is back ! simple as that , if he aint back we will draw / lose ! sums up our season.

I'll settle for your prediction of a Blues win, Harps draw and Pats loss. :D

    shels 2/3 - 0
pats 0-0 ucd aren't that good i've no idea how they are where they are, 0-0 specialists
bohs 0-0 bohs drop points to weak opposition look at the waterford game (similiar to rovers really)
cork - drogs who knows cork are strong drogs are dark horses with something to prove any bodys guess really
bray 1-0 waterford and the most boring game of the year i bet

With any luck, Dundalk will hold Dublin City to at least a draw and Cobh Ramblers will be able to sneak in to the Play Off place (but no higher, y'hear!). I like Cobh ramblers, what can I say?

Rovers not winning automatic promotion now would be unthinkable, but there's still seven matches left for us. Still, I'm very confident at this stage.

That was as poor as ive seen longford play in a long time. :/

Shels completley dominated the first half especially, took it easy in the second really. O'Neills goal was sensational.

It was a good goal but he should never have been let get ther shot in. Woeful defending again was at fault first goal another ball through the middle and for the second week in a row ended up in the easiest of finishes.

Longford were not at the races alright, but Shels were not letting them get the ball especially in the first half.

Has to be said though, Digger is still an absolute hero. Nobody else like him at all

Aye, digger is great. Will be sorry to see him call it a day at the end of the season. Always a great player and gives it his all.

    UCD 2 - 3 Waterford.

Huge win for Wateford, who play St Pays on friday coming. A Waterford win, and that throws Pats into the relegation play off place! I fancy Waterford to do a job here, as their confidence must be hight with 2 wins in their last 3 games, and by many accounts were desperatly unlucky not to get anything against Bray.

Last nights game desecended into farce before it even kicked off, as the eL, the ever professionals, never appointed any officials, so a scramble started before the game. Christ sake, that crap wouldnt happen in an U13 game

Yeah should be a good night in the RSC on Friday. The result last night also puts Rovers back in the mire also. Blues next 2 games are MASSIVE. Pats at home followed by Rovers away.
