Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great start for Bolton. Could be Chelseas first dropped points this season. However, I'm expecting Chelsea to take over now.

Anyone know where I can get updates on the Liverpool game ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

Kevin Davies is massively under-rated. I remember being really disappointed the day(s) he left Southampton.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/live_text/default.stm - Liverpool text. You can listen to SkySports Soccer Saturday on the SkySports website too. They do regular updates on it.

Drogba had a goal disallowed, rightly.

Red card for Nelson (I think?) at Anfield.

Speed just cracked the crossbar for Bolton, fvck! Have him in my fantasy football team.

[edit] - Actually the Georgian guy sent off, Kishanishvilli or something like that.

Yes Rooney has made it 1-0 to Utd against the run of play i must admit though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

Essien should have walked. Horrible challenge.

Just noticed, Blackburn are down to 10 men since the 33rd minute.

ffs. Ljungberg off with a hamstring injury. I think Arsenal's current 11 on the pitch has the following age break-down:

    Lehmann (35), Clichy (20), Senderos (20), Toure (24), Lauren (28), Pires (32), Flamini (20), Fabregas (18), Eboue (21), Bergkamp (35), Reyes (22).

Hleb is out for 2 months now too. Pretty soon Arsenal will be forced to field their U14s.

    1-0 SAINTS! THE OAK!

Now if we can hang on to this our massive unbeaten run will continue. Have to end the run of 7 draws too!

Think Morrison just scored for Palace too.

Dam Kanu, wonder what were the odds?

Kevin Davies is massively under-rated. I remember being really disappointed the day(s) he left Southampton.

I remember being massively disappointed the day Blackburn sold him back to Saints for 2 million plus Egil Ostenstad.

    6.5 million for one goal.

Who is Eboue?? Is that the dutch guy, really quick feet? Quincy....?

Essien should have walked, and i suspect anything from him will result in a second yellow.
Chelsea are losing to a side who aren't scared of them and have a habit of winning 1-0/beating the best/not playing scared.
United have scored against the run of play.
Arsenal are drawing sustaining yet another injury

The day has gone pretty good for United so far, and we've been playing **** :)

He has been outstanding today, my man-of-the-match so far. I remember a goal he scored for us against Everton that was just unreal. Great bit of business for Southampton alright, players seem to get worse after leaving us (Bridge, Beattie, Crouch?). Davies definitely an exception to the rule.

No, he's a right back from the Ivory Coast. These injuries are piling up mighty high. I think it's damage limitation until we get our first team back. Hopefully won't finish any lower than third this year.

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 15,001 ✭✭✭✭Pepe LeFrits

I was disappointed to see Eboue brought on instead of Quincy, slightly negative substitution. Mind you, from what I've seen of Eboue, he's excellent going forward - very quick, inventive and excellent technical ability. Typical that I won't get to see him play, the game doesn't even seem to be on the radio anywhere :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,473 ✭✭✭Roddy23

ah a few of the young lads are quality. that eboue chap is a very good right back, dont know about midfiled, unless Lauren has slotted in where Freddie was. The only 2 injuries im worried about is Hleb and Henry. as Gilberto and Campbell will be back on tuesday.

Chelsea have switched to a 3-3-4. Gudjohnsen is on for Del Horno.

    Mourinho clearly not happy.
