Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Its some Joke ok. Is there any team out there capable of giving Chelsea a game. Besides wigan, they have not been really put under any serious pressure this season so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Chelsea arent even doing anything spectacular or even great, Bolton have just fallen apart and are watching Chelsea score. That gob****e of a right full kept Drogba onside and watched the rest of the defence step up for the 2nd goal. The wall jumps out of the way as if a cannon is being shot at them and Lampard passes it in ( you dont mind plyers protecting themselves but they could at least wait to see if hes taking a shot before you run away). Then the fourth nobody even bothers running with Drogba.

Good I wish teams would play like this against Liverpool. What happened to th eBolton of the first half who werent scared?

****tu scored for QPR. He has a funny name. :)

It would be nice if Arsenal could score...........

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

Mourinho switched from a 4-5-1 to a 3-3-4, brought on Gudjohnsen for del Horno, and Chelsea scored 4 in 9 minutes.

Bolton self-destructed in fairness but what an incredible turnaround.

What going on at the liverpool game. Seems to be very quite there. You would think that against 10 men they would atleast be putting blackburn under pressure

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

    Clinical finishing from Gallas. :)

Is Crespo in the squad or what?, what does the poor bloke have to do to get a run out? Bet he wishes he stayed in Milan now.

    2-0 Utd. Excellent finish RVN

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

Mourinho's not going to drop Drogba once he is fit and banging them in. Not to mention the number of assists the guy gets.

Personally, I think he should stat ahead of Droghba.

Yeah but you'd think he'd be ahead of at least Carlton Cole. He's the best footballing forward they have yet he seems to be fourth in line when the team is named.

Gwan the West Brom. Nothing against Arsenal just like to see the little teams do well.

I personally would prefer Crespo too, but you just can't argue with Mourinho. His results speak for themselves.

  • Moderators, Regional South East Moderators Posts: 9,048 Mod ✭✭✭✭Aquos76

Picque,Miller and Rossi are coming on for Man U.

Elliot has just scored for Sunderland

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Arsenal behind at least cheers me up a little

whos to say Crespo wouldnt be knocking them in at the same rate as Droghba if he were starting :)

O shea has just give away a freekick on the edge of box.

What a miss from 2 yards

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

For christs sake. Why the hell do Sunderland have to wreck my head. They were beaten but couldnt leave UTd with a clean sheet. Just lost 8 points off my off team cos of Elliot. I hate him now.

    Blackburn are dirty bastards ;)

    Bookings:
    D Bentley 77
    L Neill 77
    R Savage 81

    Sent off:
    Z Khizanishvili 33

    Goalllllllllllllll

    3-1 Man U Rossi

  • Moderators, Regional South East Moderators Posts: 9,048 Mod ✭✭✭✭Aquos76

What a finish from Rossi, took a bit of a deflection mind you, but we will take that. VDS ran the length of the pitch for the goal celebration

It would take a brave/stupid man to change a team that have beaten last years 5th/6th (I think?) placed teams 4-1 and 5-1 (If it stays at 5 today). Especially when Drogba has 3 goals and at least 4 assists in those two games.

ah shut up houghton, sorry, just shocked Arsenal lost again.
This must be the worst start to an Arsenal season in 10/15 years.

The red-card was apparently harsh. Other than that I think 3 yellow cards is about average.

Having said that, Savage and Neill most likely get booked almost every time they play.

    FT Sunderland 1 Man U 3

Arsenal had alot of players out for that game but its still one we should have won comfortably.

Dont know whats going on in the dressing room but their appears to be no leadership at all in the squad. However it is a transistional period for them.

And chealsea just keep on winning. Will the league be over by Xmas...Sadky I think so

Thanks for that. Of course no other team ever have three players booked or one sent off. Bolton had two booked and one sent off but I don't see you coming on here calling them that.
