so here are a couple of preliminary scores to save you some hassle.. (btw, my score from week 1 wasn't correct)

Because of the breakdown how about scrapping week 3 and starting again next monday. It would suit me fine as my 4 pts so far have all been losers.

haha...good try....The breakdown was only for a day and the racing was poor that day anyway...And just to be exciting we're adding an additional 5 points per player for the breeders cup on saturday night.

I don't think you've been reading the rules properly. (To clarify, the first week's scores have to be changed...the stakes have to be taken off)

I think Nick final score is correct, he has just calculated it in a very roundabout way.

It should have been:

Total Score = 4.17 + 3.86 + 6 - 1 = 12.03.

Nick was adding the stake to his return for each bet then subtracting it back off at the end.

Fade if you don't get a chance to do the scores for the first two weeks today I should have some time tomorrow morning to do them.

hey you lot just a quick query...my bet last week was 3 points each way on ellusive dream in the marathon caesarawich and the horse duly finished 5th. all the major bookmakers paid out on the first five but i was just wondering would i be entitled to my each way bet coming up on this..if it doesnt apply to this comp well thats ok then too.

Whyno, What the bookies did in the Cesareawich was a special offer. In this competition we are following the standard each way rules which can be found on any bookies website. As there are so many and varied special offers given by bookmakers it would be impossible to use them in a competition.
