nero - xp home

Hi, I was always using nero to copy dvds with win 2k,

now im using xp home,

the option i used to use was copt entire dvd, this allowed me to remove extras, or reduce the quality of extras and increase quality of main movie etc... (in this option i could copy contents of dvd to pc then select copy dvd..it pull in th efiles and i could adjust them etc...)

now when i use the same nero in xp home this option is not there!!??!!

all i can seem to do is copy, i.e insert dvd, then it pops out and asks me to insert blank media.... in this case if the dvd is more than a single layer, it wont fit, it wont allow me to reduce the quality, remove extras etc...


so does anyone kow if it is just xp??? that i cant do it the othere way anymore??

Nero have released updated on their site for products to work with XP, 20-30mb download but it might sort your problem out.

thanks.... i dont suppose you can provide a link to what i need to download... i checked the site but could only see updates you have to pay for....i.e nero 7

Open up Nero StartSmart and click on the fire symbol on bottom right hand corner, available updates should be listed there..
