Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That pipe wasn't em. . piped, we used to place it in different spots in college on our cars for the reactions :D

I used to have a pic of a friends mk2 golf with one headlight removed and a huge mushroom filter on the end of the pipe :)

Sorry about the ipad pred :) it is quite a funny photo though :)

I remember a few years ago some gentlemen were driving round Navan one Saturday night in a mk3 Golf, also 1 headlighted. Looked to have a drain pipe in its place

Matt - do you find the k&N filters justify their cost?
Edit - I am thinking of getting one for my car.

Personally i'd go with ITG these days, the are a nicer filter but any decent panel filter is worth the cost.

I've used K&N for years. They might be a bit more expensive initially, but if you're keeping a car for any length of time they are a good investment.
They allow the engine to breath a bit more freely, just like Vic's Vapour Rub:D

Can't get over how good those wheels look.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,480 ✭✭✭YbFocus

Paddy has lost full lock I'd reckon :)

    Again man, gorgeous wheel!

Are they a heavy rim Paddy? They look meaty!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,721 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

Time to call out the arch rollers I reckon. :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,480 ✭✭✭YbFocus

I'm having trouble with my 19x9's rudding the arch lining near or at full lock.
Can't imagine it on an E90, I would presume there'd be less room?

I reckon they're lighter than the 3SDMs or at least not far off.

No rubbing at all (would drive me crazy) and still have full lock :P

The Pre LCI E90s have larger arches than the LCI models. Plenty of room in there, could probably go up to a 265/235 combination if I wanted.

(Sorry for double post, only seen your reply after I had posted)

I can honestly say I have ran out of fuel in that Fiesta more times than I have done in the Legend. Well, the Legend has never actually ran out but that Fiesta did...3 times.

So obviously the Legend is the sensible choice of the two.
