    There was never a Prelude type R. There was a Prelude Type S though, with 220bhp from the 2.2 v-tec. It was only available as a Jap import. That looks like a Type S, the best Prelude there was. I might be mistaken, but I think they had an LSD also.
    In the UK/Ireland market, the quickest Prelude avaiable was the VTI, which had 197bhp. (or 185bhp pre 98)

    Yeah its a type S, never was a Type R Prelude. Its a good combination of the speed and comfort, plus it has all the sound deadening in place, so nice on long trips.
    It came with the ATTS rather than a LSD, ment to be better for cornoring, but I dont really put it to the test:D
