I'd happily drive around in a Go-kart if I knew I had a Chaser coming eventually. Though Don't think I could manage the Tax on it, 700 for the year is bad enough on my one when I'm not working.

Nope. Either 1JZ-GTE which is 2.5 Turbo, or 2JZ-GE which is 3L n/a

Couldn't find a post 2008 330d and too expensive to import one thanks to Revenue's valuation of them. Didn't want to push my luck with another N47 engine as I did well to have no timing chain problems in 3 years.

Just like the Skyline they did make a 2l non Turbo version, on Chasers its the 1G-FE engine, very weak to be pulling such a heavy car at only 140hp. Basically, with Chasers the Tourer S were non Turbo and the Tourer V were 2.5l Turbo at 280hp. The R34 Skyline was similar and also had a 2l version which was non turbo and only 155hp.

These non Turbo versions of these cars could be picked up for only a few hundred euro from Japanese auctions in contrast to the turbo versions of these cars that are respected and go for thousands, I sometimes see lads on donedeal selling 2l versions of these cars and are demanding big money but it would be a total waste to buy one.
