Yesterday decided after afew jobs to give the girls a clean.

Poor Octavia was sat up for ages so decided to jump start it and let it tick over for 20 minutes or so and start cleaning all the green crap on it.

I'm 90% sure I saw your car and drove past you out by Dublin Airport back a few weeks, I was at the roundabout in a red 156, the stripes gave it away!

@SG need a set of brake pads for that Octavia?

Wel not strictly my car as it's a rental but it will be mine for the next 3 weeks. Custard was requested but because I had none a 1/2 bottle of coke, a shoe and a dirty sock was decided on as proof:pac:

    Loving that you played along!

That looks respectable enough but the interior reminds me of an old Sonata for some reason. Americans never seem to be able to get the interior right. Is it good to drive?

That sock will have to live on for more pictures, could be like WHERE'S WALLY

That is the current model. It started production in 2006 and is being replaced next year.
The interior actually looks worse in photos than it does on real life but it's still not nice by any stretch! Although saying that all of the switch gear feels nice:)

It's ok to drive, not offensive in any way but it very different to the Levin! It is comfortable though, it's quite softly sprung and the seats are very comfortable and supportive. In terms of steering feedback it's a little more numb than the insignia an the steering rack as fast. The ride quality and seats more than make up for it though.
It's also pretty powerful, you can easily spin the wheels for a long time:pac:

Really enjoyed the MR2 once again - got off those pesky motorways onto some nice windy roads in Cavan/Leitrim, epic drive but met the local boyracer in his Levin - dangerous muppet comes to mind :pac:.

....anyway I realised I don't take half enough photos of the car :)

To be fair, that front lip spoiler was a lost cause went you started with it. You were right to wrap it. Looks the business, subtlety. The clear lenses make it alot sharper too.
