Hahah, yeah it keeps moving around, and no, not a diesel, but not a 1.4 either.

The best thing to do is it just make your car so that you are happy with it and 2 fingers to what other people think!

Ah man I'm not cutting at you in any way at all, I have pics but they are on the laptop.
I'm all for everyone doing their own thing, my current car is standard really.

The new motor in me life.

Any plans for it? Nice car, a mate of mine has one them colour coded the skirts etc and got a Type R front grill (minus the Typre R badge and red Honda badge obviously :)) for it looks brilliant.

I'll take that front splitter TT, you'll only break it. Also the 17s don't suit it, swap you some 16s?

Looking good. I'd prefer the Focus myself though. What made you switch?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,480 ✭✭✭YbFocus

Like anything man, after 2 years I'd had enough of it. I don't own that car since about march 2009. As it was my first car it was only a 1.4 and horribly slow yet drank petrol. I had started college and needed something a bit easier to live with.

I see. Yeah, 1.4 is ridiculous, especially if you have people in the back seat. Unfortunately the tax costs more for a car with a bigger engine. Let me guess, there's a TDI under the bonnet in the Beamer? :)

I'm kind of looking for something new too. Wondering how the vintage car tax & insurance work exactly, might go for a MK1 GTI Golf.
