Well wear :) We got ourselves a 06 JTD Sporting a few weeks ago. 130bhp from a quite light car isn't bad at all :)

    Remap!
I hope you kept the turbo from the 2.4 jtd.

Paid deposit this morning will be collecting Thursday or Friday!

    1.4 16v GP Sporting (2007)

63k miles, NCT'd til 07/15, tax 12/13, serviced recently and 4 new tyres. Delighted :)

Plans - back 3 windows tinted, wind deflectors, debadged grill, xenon bulbs and LED reg plate. Maybe black roof. Performance wise there's a few nice induction kits for these but we'll see, take it a day at a time. Can't wait to get hold of it :D

Absolutely gorgeous, always loved that red.:D But please don't put a black roof on it, it'd really spoil the look IMHO...

One way or another, well wear!

    Cheers man!

I've seen a few nice GPs with black roofs, gonna get the other bits and bobs done first then see what happens. I like the look of this too maybe a bit too much though! -

Cheers for the ban Colm, I know I contravened the forum charter, but handing out bans for an honest mistake is a bit harsh. Anyway I just want you to know I ended up having to watch half of Fair City before I copped to logout to get in to the forum  :P

    What's the reasoning behind it?
Or quoting pics takes too long to load?

It just makes the thread messy, especially if someone quotes a post with loads of pics.

And it's FAIR annoying having to scroll down through quoted pics

Should also apply that rule to "Here's What I Saw Today" thread too especially now that we have the likes of the snap-happy Marcinek posting :pac:

    Fair enough.
It's so easy to do though.
What's the story with those bans?
Do they go down in the big red book if Gordon ever comes after you?
Or is it swept under the carpet after a day?

Some say that Alan will forget about it and sweep it under the carpet immediately if you slip him €20 :pac:

I hope you kept the turbo from the 2.4 jtd.

You reading my mind all of a sudden? ;)
It wont be now, but this will be popping up in the near future :)
The 2.4 turbo is a bit bigger and gaskets will be different also. Which also will mean modifying the pipping.
I'd also be considering a FMIC but one thing at a time :)
I guestimate with these mods I'd be looking at around ~40ish bhp more (with a subtle remap)

Thanks mate, am delighted! Just need to get new reg plates and debating about a gloss black roof but apart from that exterior wise i'm pleased. Maybe a K&N induction kit with weeks to come we'll see how the funds are.

@Rizzee - what does the writing on the front grill say? That small not grill type rectangle on the first picture. T-jet?

Is leave the exterior standard and put the money instead to upgrading suspension and brakes then power as opposed to a black roof.
    That's just me though.
Lovely car though. Glad to see some people are still buying them!: pac:

And Cian there's pics somewhere but I wouldn't want to quote them.
I think they were around the time of the ass shot.

Always loved the seats in the GP sporting, change the gearknob though, really lets the interior down. Gsr induction kits are meant to be very nice for these
