maybe I'm a reg snob too, but I wouldn't buy a bog registered car. and they don't hold their value as much either, driving on all them bog hole riddled roads doesn't help their resale value.:D

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

OT but I live in the bog, takes me 15 mins to get to work in the morning and its 15 KMs. when I lived in Waterford it took me 45mins to get 5 Kms. I know D reg cars usually have a higher resale value but engine hours would be higher than actual milage?

    Well wear with it,

Just a quick question, why have you the reg blocked out in the main picture when its still perfectly visable in the signature picture???? 00-D-xxxx

he he, I noticed too. I see that quite a lot in the HWIST thread.

The MK4 Golfs are a good car. I had one for a few years and never a problem with it. :)
