What is most complex job you ever do yourself to car?
So we can all see how purely personal a thing it is for you :)

    <snip> Strike Again!

Cian, I get you totally. Building a car the way you want from scratch is awesome but unfortunately you never get your money back on it.

You could always buy a 'finished' car but where's the fun in that? Plus you lose the satisfaction knowing everything gone in to it is your own. Fooked if I would do it to a Colt but each to their own. ;)

So you agree it's not worth converting a colt then? That's what this whole discussion about.

This is not the chat thread. More pics, less chit chat.

It's not financially 'worth' upgrading, modifying, whatever you want to call it ANY car. You will NEVER make your money back BUT the satisfaction of doing so to your own taste (bad as that taste may be at times) wins EVERY time. ;)

Yes, I agree 'converting' a Colt is not 'worth' it. ;)

No problem Supergurrier, more than welcome for a spin. I've been meaning to make a boards meeting- last one I was at was last year in the Phoenix Park. Time flies.

That's the one, and that's my blue arm in the passenger seat. :D
That car's nothing but a shell now, AFAIK it'll be built for ITCC. It was a great thing when it was whole.

Cheers, man. There's more from the day here. I think that's a public album.

Goodness, nice to know there's more out there! :D

This one was the exact same colour as your one :) they either didn't want to keep up with me or couldn't (doubt that last part though :P )

Lol! They are a heavy lump of a yoke though so it could be the latter! I reckon a remapped FWD 1.9 diesel would give the Zed a run for it's money :D

Yeah, this is my favourite shape of the Colt / Mirage. Anyway I prefer cars between 1980 and 2000. :)

Some cars after 2000 are allright too but very few and far between.
