Updated pic.. now with added chrome strips in the grille which make it look a lot better I think :) - apologies for the bad lighting.

Did you sell this car on Mike or did it go to the great M50 in the sky? I'm pretty sure I saw this car on Wednesday in Dublin.

Im sorry but every time I see somebody in one of those I think they are either a hairdresser or homosexual or both.

Mini's these days scream "womans car" whether or not you buy a car with the full kit, power and bling.

    Your not blonde are you?

Although i wouldn't buy one, i see nothing wrong with a good looking, rocket of a car.

Im neither a hairdresser or homosexual lol

I have blond streaks, but i wouldn't call myself 'blond' per se :P

I got them through a link to an ebay US shop on one of the UK VW forums.
Waited till others got and put them on before I ordered and no-one (including me) has had any complaints so far. :)

mini's are a pure womans car. 95% of all minis in ireland were bought by 19-28yr old females , by there parents. fact.

bmw said of this 80% were dublin purchases, so chances are if ya see a mini its been driven by a spoilt daddy's girl:eek:

I certainly know of one case where this is 100% true, her dad bought her an 05 convertible. I'd say there's about 20-30 minis around the Dundalk area and 99% of them are driven by women.

They're either driven by young hot women, women that think their hot or hippy women in their 30s. Of course anyone that argues otherwise can be the exception to the rule. :)

Thread bumpage, I'm thinking of doing my wheels in black. Any opinions?

  • Registered Users Posts: 26,149 ✭✭✭✭Berty

I wouldnt like to see those wheels destroyed by dusting them black.

What is good and I have seen it before are Wolfrace on that model Golf.

I'm fairly adamant about keeping those wheels tbh. I'm sure the rule about never going back from black doesn't apply to wheels :pac:
