I dunno dude i think his plan is to advertise it next week and try and get my old octavia on the road (will probably sell it to him for half the price of an RS clutch kit" which is about half what it's worth.

    Very comfy car though.

So, she made it to Naas and back today with 3 of us squeezed in. Not a problem on the way up or back, and I'll admit, I'm a bit surprised at that. Bloody brilliant.

Leather or velours? They are seriously comfy indeed :D

Should make an easy €600 with that engine/year, they are a sweet spot between the 1.6 and 2.0. However, those 1.8's are notorious for cooking HG's due to using the smaller 1.6 rad and mysteriously green coolant over the normal Alfa red

If he is to get another 156, it needs the 2.0 with the balancer shaft disconnected an the rpm raised to over 8k rpm. Now that's a handful

Does that Octy need new pads btw? ;););)

Never watched it, but I think he had an Austin 1300 estate? Pretty much the same car. They made Austin, Morris, MG, Riley and Wolseley versions.

The engine bay is my favourite part of that BMW.

Lovely car but I object to all the plastic under the bonnet. BMW used to make love engines with no need for plastic.

    Nice short arsed bmw :D.

That Z4 has been on Done Deal for a while now.

The coupe Z4 is so much nicer than the soft top. Only minus points are that it's an auto.

I prefer the look of a clean engine bay that's not cluttered with plastic bits too, but still I prefer that pic over the other ones.

    Anyway, can't beat an E34 M5... a car I wish I had

I was worried it would feel slow and a bit soft with the auto box having come from a dsg box but in sport mode it's shifts very quickly, steering wheel paddles work well too.
In normal mode it's very relaxing and great in traffic.

They are a nice motor! Got a lift home from a meet in a Z4M few years ago, lovely machine and no slough, they are a tight squeeze to sit in.

Did you pass me on the Malahide Road on Thursday morning by any chance (Blue Focus ST)? You went passed me just after the Darndale roundabout and I went passed you again at the N32 turn off.

Noticed a shiny looking Z4 that day, looked very well. :)

No, wasn't me...I'd be on the N4 side mostly.
