Who's the felter in the background? :pac:

No felt plates. Not decked. Back is too clean. No Nürburgring sticker. TDI not fully red

Twin booooooo pipes and the S line kit though. I'd give it 3/10 for feltiness :pac:

Nice motor McLove! Something up with the reg though, I wanted to see what size engine it was but neither Motorcheck or cartell recognise that reg

11lk3349 is the newest reg on the systems so its probably on its way on

    Sometimes I think that. .

But the other 99% of the time I want to dissolve them in acid so that nobody can ever put them on a car again :)

I'll change them when money allows :)

See I do like them sometimes, they really set it off, but there's an aero estate knocking around college and they have the newer ones and it looks really nice, so I'm in a bit of a torn state with them y'know?

Was never a fan of the Dodge Viper, don't know why just something about it.

I loved driving it on gran turismo!

Never liked the look of the standard Viper myself, the SRT on the other hand.......

I just don't like vipers, they seem overly huge and well, American really.

    8.3 v10..
Seriously have a massive car horn for these beasts. However, even sh!t clapped out versions go for north of $15k in the US so it will be a while before I get one!

Me too, but I prefer the rumble of a yank v8 compared to a euro v8.
European engines are too efficient and clean sounding for my liking.
I do like the v10 in e60 m5s though, when they drop a bit I'd consider that.

600 odd bhp isn't huge for an 8 litre when the Veyron is double that ok with 4 turbos and merc get the same from 6 litres with twin turbos.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,480 ✭✭✭YbFocus

    E39 540 on straight pipes :)

Maserati gran turismo v12. The best sound in the world. . :D

Upon my lotto win that'll be ordered the next morning, a Stradale in white please :)

Ah but it isn't all about the power
It is about the torque and that ungodly roar of an inefficient and needlessly big engine.
    Ain't no replacement for displacement!

And the veyron is a quadro turbocharged w16 engine, effectively two twin turbo v8's stuck together, hardly the same thing as a n/a v10 :)

imo the original viper was a lovely looking thing, particularly for the era. Would love one of them.

The best sound from a V10 has to be the Carrera gt addictive!

Ah no now for that stuff I'd go to the more godly petroleum :)
All this hating would make anyone think your jealous MM :)

    +1

They may be inefficient but the sound of a big fvck ass American V8 is awesome.

Yank tanks tend to have lower bhp compared to similar block sized Euro cars but by God do they love their torque!

Seeing as we don't have Autobhans big torque is more rewarding than big bips IMO. :)

Nah not jealousy at all lad! My hatred stems from the car I drove when I first got my provisional licence - a Peugeot 1.6 diesel. Bloody thing wouldn't pull the tits off a leper!
