    Do you have a few racing stripes on it too?? Makes it go faster :p

    Yeah i'm fairly sure i've a few Punto bits left over, will have to do that I hate the old style wipers! Even has them on the front too :(

    @rocky, for a 1.3 standard car i'd consider that not a bad goer :)

    Tasty! Did you get rid of the FD2?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,375 ✭✭✭5500

    Yep Bryn, the plan was to get a 34gtr or nsx, but nothing good was coming up within budget in Japan and I was getting impatient, I still want either of the above so won't be holding this one for long I wouldn't say :)

    Nearly 2 years ago I put up pictures of my car as I bought it, here it is now with new wheels, new mid spoiler and a small bit lowered :)

    Bluebird at her finest. Goes on sale tonight. I'll miss it after 8 years, but it will be nice to have some refinements for once, plus a fully functioning starter motor, I've gotten some odd looks from people when I had to hit it with a lump of wood and a hammer..Ah but whatever I get won't make me smile like this will.

    Ah liam thats crap, really nice car.

    The black wheels make it dead aggressive looking.

    Loving the MSport kit on it. That's something I'm going to do on mine when the funds allow.

    You wouldn't sell it would ya?! Just the skirts and front bumper?? Ah go on! :pac:

    Beautiful BMW!!

    Just 2 quick shots, swapped the standard parking bulbs and number plate bulbs for LEDs. Pretty happy with it, nice and noticeable. Shiney shiney.

    Thats the workshop manual for that 4g13 engine. A throttle body clean can be done fairly handy by just pulling of the snorkel and jubilee clip. IT made a nice difference to mine especially driving in traffic. Never had any bother with only it only damp getting at the distributor cap the odd dirty morning and it burned/leaked a small drop of oil, about 1 litre/1000 miles.

    Thanks for that man. Just looked at a video on it too and it seems really easy!

    pish easy :). The only problem I remember is the hose was fitted onto the TB fairly tight. I used a screwdriver to lever it off and it scratched the outside of the TB a bit. Bit of wd in there first and a plastic tyre lever would have been better maybe.

    Yes the wheels have a lovely concave , it really gives the car a more aggressive stance, they are 18' staggered set up.
