Im jealous of the black A4 S-line because I just got mine back from the panel beater and when I saw in this morning in daylight I realised it was a botch job.

There are white specs showing through and water under the paintwork. He is going to get a piece of my mind in the morning. Cheque has already been cancelled.

Git let it dry in the rain I would say.:mad::mad::mad:

I didnt go to Slaters. I went to Gorey who does good work. He has done work on my parents cars over the years and does all the Renault Mulgrave St work.

Thanks, elbow grease and some Maguires wax got her looking like that. She didn't stay clean for much longer after that photo was taken though, it's pretty much impossible to keep a car clean in Ireland, even on a dry day!

That's awful about the botch job on the A4, mine has a few scratches and bloody kerb marks on the wheels (previous owner!) that I'll eventually get around to sorting out.

    S.

Any other S-line A4's on here?

    Nice.

    Sorrento?

    Heated seats - very nice.

However, your tax and insurance holder location would drive me potty. I have slight OCD so it must be in the corner where the angle is.

He'll have room for his NCT (where is it now? - naughty naughty) and the future carbon-green-credit-levy.

Limerick Man, looks very nice. I don't know why but cars always look so much nicer without reg plates!

How much did it end up costing to convert it?

He did it himself AFAIK. So just the cost of tint/sheet metal/sundries.

about 100 euro in steel (of which i didnt neet 1/3 of it, but had to buy the sheets anyway)

    24 on carpet

    30 on glues/screws/rivets

    70 on window tint

    15 on plywood

so 139 euro and 10 hours work :D

and borrowing a towbar fitting garage that had a mig welder for an afternoon

Lovely focus. I never liked the hatch with the 5 door.

I suppose its because I had a 2005 focus zetec 3 door in panther black. Lovely car.
