If you guys find anyone selling or even better swapping a Subaru Impreza 2003+ Please do let me know.

    Good Question!
Upto 2004, this car was sold in Ireland as Daewoo Nubira.
In 2005 they changed it to Chevrolet Nubira/Lacetti in Ireland.
My car was built on 4th Jan 2005.
They must've had some bits left with the Daewoo logo so the steering wheel and the wheel covers say Daewoo on them.
On the papers and log book, it's a Chevrolet Nubira SX.
The previous owner gave me this information, I don't know myself to be honest with you.
In Europe the Ga16de has 98 Hp and originally Produces 124 HP in the Nissan 180sx.
    That must be it.
I sold the car yesterday anyway!

Didn't drove it though, and my dad was covered on it.
Had plans to keep it but I couldn't afford the tax on 1.6 while I'm at school.

I had a bicycle going to school.

    3 miles???

**** sake man, that is a short stroll.

Anyway, if you can't afford the extra few quid to tax a 1.6, how do you even afford to insure tha car?!

    I'm not insured yet.
I'll sort that out anyway or I'll get the Parents to do it for me.

So you can't afford the extra 100 or 200 to tax it but you will "sort out" the insurance?

Cars aren't all about initial outlay of cash, they cost money to run between petrol, serivcing, tires etc, so I would think long and hard about whether you can afford a car if you haven't even sorted insurance out yet and are complaining that you can't afford the extra for tax on a 1.6

Very nice, mad after one of them!

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,694 ✭✭✭✭L-M

Nice one! I hate they way they made those Monte Carlos standard on the comfortlines, ruined the rarity of them!

Front (and rear I assume) parking sensors?

    Personalised plate too, nice

I was thrilled to see the Monte Carlos on it. Now, had I bought(with my money) a 2009 with standard CL alloys and then I saw a pile of 2010s with it I'd be annoyed.

Parking Sensors? Front and Rear, yes with a on screen radar on the radio.

I agree I bought a Highline in 2007. The Monte Carlos were 1300 extra along with the sports pack. They really made the car...

Nice machine Mick. If I owned one I would put the RS5 grille on it. I know I know felt spec and all that but I dont think a car like that falls into the Felt category. It would make the car look really well.

I love chrome and shiny things..:o:o Magpie in a previous life..:)
