Any harm in asking how many bills were involved in its purchase. I'm keeping an eye out for an old F

bought it for €2700 had to get the head gasket done that only cost £350 up north, also needed a new clutch and a thermostat and some paintwork but well worth it in my opioion. Just bought an f myself last week, its a 97 vvc with only 26k on the clock has a hard top as well, lovely motor once i clean it up a bit

Ya its pro logic 2. I don't have the optional sub but i don't think it needs. It sounds fantastic.

Here is an article about it -- http://caraudiomag.com/articles/listening-dolby-pro-logic-ii

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexus_LS

I had to look up what engine is in an LS400. I'm impressed. 4L V8.
    Also at this line:
over US$1 billion in development expenses, the final design for the production Lexus LS 400 (chassis code UCF10) was approved in 1987.

Ours for the last 11 years. Bought at 14k miles in Feb 2000, currently 64k miles since new (Feb 1998) and my daily driver for the entire time except the 2006-2008 period (in long-term storage from 2006 to 2008, put on FR plates in 2007-2008).

Was on Irish 98-D-xxxxx plates between 2004 and 2007 (it's the 98 MX-5 'Berkeley' you can see listed on the VRT calculator ;)). Now back to its original UK reg. And still my daily driver.

Thank you, we try hard to keep it that way :)

That was professionally fixed last summer, along with sills prepping and a whole body skim/refresh, by 'Painterdave' (his nick on specialist MX-5 forums, he's Deepcar Autobodies near Sheffield and has a rep <YAY-big> with MX-5 enthusiasts across the UK. Utterly deserved, from my experience, as that limited edition colour is a b**** to match perfectly).

lol yeah, one of the advantages of living in Meath is there's some good spots to get covered (and stuck) in mud. :D

the rule of thumb is to always have at least 2 of you tho, just so one can pull the other one out of the muck. :)

Excellent stuff. When I first read your post I thought that this was the picture after it had been fixed :p

Any scratches like that would drive a car enthusiast mad though.
