Here is my 2006 Passat SE TDI 105BHP which I got last November. It currently has 120k miles and is going very well.

I finally had a chance to get it clean and have a camera near me today. Enjoy

Nah I took them down in Dromineer. I was going to drive it into the lake for the usual Donedeal skangermobile ad shot showing the MINT car in Lake dramatic shot but I thought better of it.

All its really missing is some diesel down the side and some fat one with 7 kids climbing around inside to complete the farmer Passat look

Don't have access to a daycent camera so have avoided putting up pics(+ it's almost impossible to take a good photo of the paint).

Or a nice 1980's "THE VW TOUCH" rear window sticker for anyone who is old enough to remember then

Ha! I saw that car on two consecutive days last month, first on Baggot Street and then again in Rathfarnham the next day. Never would have thought it would be a fellow boardsies car I was looking at, small world! :pac:

That thing looks good on these alloys!
Lower it and trust me it will look even better!
I'll photoshop (lower) it and post the pic up here.

And ruin the nice comfortable ride are you mad???

It will never be sporty or cool lowered or not its a bloody Avensis and its one use is to be economical and reliable.

    I know I've owned one

  • Registered Users Posts: 866 ✭✭✭rusty_racer94

I didn't mean to go crazy with the lowering.
Just a little bit of drop on not-so-hard suspension.

No bought it in ballinrobe, It's not too bad, was only 114000miles on it with a new timing belt when i bought.

Alloys are RS4 got them cheap off a mate who bought an A4 and changed the spokes.

I'll give you a set of lowering springs for it if you want them. Free to a good home.

Thanks for the offer mate, but lowering isn't my thing and i doubt i'd ever be happy with it.

All it needs is front fog lights and i'm not spending any more money on it.

    Cheers though.

This, you'll just about get away with non toyota alloys on a avensis depending on the spoke.

Anything will make it look daft.
