My Coupe after a nice wash on Sunday morning. I put 400 miles on it the day before, drove Dublin -> Limerick -> Sligo -> Dublin. €80 worth of petrol though :(

    33/34 ish mpg

Probably about right! It depends how "spirited" my driving was :p

I've managed 40mpg before but driving above 100kmh sucks the fuel! They have a close ratio gearbox so at 120kmh its sitting about 3400 rpm despite being a 1.8 (which probably should rev lower at that speed).

    Ah well!

Is that Turbo? A friend of mine had one the very same, think it was 01 though. Lovely car but he had awful trouble with it, it was never right!

Its the 1.8 version, I have the same wheels as the Turbo on it, suit it the best out of all the Opel 5 stud wheels I think.

I know a fella with a turbo version and they are nice, fairly quick too! The 1.8 version and 2.0 turbo engines are generally regarded as reliable but like everything its possible to get a bad egg unfortunately.

Mine is now on 90,000 miles and is running sweet and hasn't cost a penny :)

Clayed my car today for the first time ever, all I can say is wow, it shifts so much dirt from the lower half of the car you would not believe. I got the Meguiars Clay Kit, which includes two clays, detailer spray, towel and liquid wax.
The car looks great Voodoo, actually looks brand new.

SV, I love that car. Was that for sale online recently? Remembering looking at it and regretting not having the funds.
Mine after a proper wash, clay, polish and wax the other day.Really need to get some decent photos, any volunteers in Limerick? :p

I was too wrecked after all that to even move the car and take a decent pic.
Should get some good shots Sunday T.T. with the other S2K's

His had 130,000 on it, constantly killing new genuine airflows, leaving this, leaving that, this breakin etc. Pretty sure it was just a bad egg more than the car itself, gorgeous car though!

I got my car re-coded for the HID upgrade.. I wonder does that turn off the warning on all bulbs?
