Its called Hide and Go Ban.

E-Hub, you will create an account a brand new account. Then you will participate like everyone else, in a polite and friendly fashion. (ie: a drastic change from how you have behaved to date.)

You will post at a tolerable rate (rather then the 14 post a day you are currently at) and in general will sink back into the general midsts of regular boards users.

Bard, will try and spot you. If he successfully does so (through your muppetry and general spa attacks) then I will call a vote on the IOFFL board for the community to "try" you, and if they chose to ban you you will stay banned from posting on the IOFFL forum FOREVER.

In return, Bard will ensure that he does not target anyone specifically for investigation or actively seek you out. Just from what is posted on the IOFFL forum.

The point here being, if you can blend in as a mature and sensible poster to IOFFL then Bard will not be able to spot you.
If you cant then its up to the community to vote for or against you remaining part of their community.

Democracy at its best.

From very soon we will be separating the Community boards from the other boards and be giving the moderators the ability to ban a user from just their boards ("I Cant Believe Its Not 12-click!" or "12-lite!")

I don't know why he's being given this chance, where others before haven't had it... however, as I said in this thread, "like DeVore, I do believe in second chances. Regardless of the large number of second chances 'Gladiator' has already had, I'm willing, as DeV is, to give one last chance."

I don't think he should need to close his account and come back as someone else. As long as he's willing to behave himself, in the fashion you've described above, I'll not push the matter any further... but if he DOES step out of line again, I'd ask for him to be removed.

That's what I'd suggested.

Because he's a a particularly rare form of muppet. Muppetus Unsuspectus. He doesnt even realise why what he's doing is unacceptible. At least not when he's doing it.

If he was just posting Goat Porn, he'd be gone ages ago.
He genuinely seems to want to engage in discussion.

However my patience are finite. This is it. One more spa attack, one more flame-troll, one more poorly phrased contentious post or dragging another topic off-topic and E-Hub you are gone forever. And I dont mean just that account, I mean no more accounts at all.

afew question though, if bard spots me not because of my behaviour but because of my unique way of typeing will i be banned? thats usualy how people spot me.

If all goes well, you guys shouldnt know who i am, and when we all meet up at the next ioffl meeting, hopefully ill surprise you all.

Spelling mistakes would be better cleaned up. Why not fool Bard and put anything you post through Word first? If you are not just firing off posts but actually THINKING about them, then the extra time is worth it. Look at it this way, its another change you can make to throw him off the scent. Also I suggest not posting for a while and DRASTICALLY changing your posting style. Try being NICE for a change or not RANTING like a bag lady on O'Connell street.


In fact, even if he's certain its you, you'll have to do something out of order and then its trial time.

In case anyone is wondering what the hell I'm up to it should be obvious.

What I want is for the IOFFL forum to calm down and E-Hub you are the biggest single cause for problem.
You manage to wreck every thread you post on, and it isnt because noone wants to hear your god-stamped TRUTH... So THINK before you post because your access to that community depends on you seeing it as a precious resource that you spend EVERY TIME you post.
