Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    what sites ?

Are you using IE6 or a previous version ?

Anyone remember a site that tells you what what version your browser reports ?

In IE empty the cache - solves a good few strange problems.
Other settings like security leave alone unless you have info that confirms that that is the problem.

I don't think IE can change the browser identity it sends
You could try FireFox with the user agent switcher extension to see if it's a web at fault. Opera can do something similar.

Thanks for the reply Capt'n Midnight.

    The 2 sites are www.o2.ie & www.ardkeen.ie.

The o2 site tells me that my browser does not support Iframes so i was unable to regeister my mobile phone details.

The ardkeen site will not show anything on the cover page just the search box. All the rest of the site I can get around.

I downloaded firefox and I still have the same problem.

The computer is only 14 months old and I not changed any security settings.

Are you running any ad blockers or other plugins? Have you checked your system for spyware with Ad-aware, Spybot S&D and MS Antispyware? That's where I'd start.

    Thanks for reply Ken,

I disabled popup blocker and restarted computer but no joy with www.o2.ie site. I am running microsoft antiSpyware but i have had this problem before and after I installed this. I think Ill just have to live with this problem, again thanks all for taking the time for replying.
