    any1 know a program for access the SQL DB.
    [ie]MySQL host = mysql.domain.name
    and i wanna get access to it.
    how?
    suggestions.
    any1 kow how to do this?

    Well I think access2000 has something to get into SQL2000 then I'd image the microsft query builder would do it. Check out the microsoft site or get SQL Server for dummies(not sure if there is one probably though:))

    If you need access to MySQL and you have PHP4, then the best option would be PHPMyAdmin.
    It allows you to do pretty much everything through a browser window - and sure as hell beats Telnet.PHPMyAdmin

    Here is how to prob was solved.



    right guys i got the mutha sorted out.
    basically im using XP and when i tried to add "MySQL" in data sources "adminsitrive tools" but the driver was not there and it took me ages to find.


    XPODBC wrking MySQL driver


    and its all good now.
