There very very few game companys it Little old Ireland, any1 every thought of setting 1 up? (ok I have), would anybody out there b interest'd? HW :)

"Starting up your own" would either require a ****load of money, or a team of programmers, graphic artists, sound engineers etc with their own equipment willing to work from home part-time for a year or two until you have something worth showing to a publishing house (who then screw you over)

To get an idea of the challenges facing a games start-up (though don't let it discourage you too much - if you have a talented crew and a great vision for a new game then go for it. )
