    Hi,

    A guy I work with is interested in buying a large (42") LCD tv. He's the kind of guy who see's something that looks nice and just buys it.
    He's looking at a Sony 42" at the mo. What model I dunno.

    I think this thing is the region of €4,000. Is this a normal price to pay?
    What companies are considered to make the best LCDs at the moment?

    Please recommend and post links if possible of any suggested alternative models.
