There's an acoustic showcase this Wednesday in Fibbers of Parnell st. in association with GigSmart. Start at 9pm

There's free entrance for this showcase so you can all hopefully make it along.

    The Maladies:
Achievements: Going since 1999. 3 nationwide tours in 2004. Supported Turn and Relish. Played on Dan Hegarty (2fm), Dave Fanning (2fm), Edel Dooley (Beat 102-103fm) and Paul Clarke (Phantom fm), with Tom Dunne (Today fm) making them his Rising Band Of The Week. Appeared on TG4. They were one of four bands asked to play at Phantom fm's first ever live gig broadcast along with Chuzzle, Autamata and Juno Falls. In September '04, the band took part in the Hard Working Class Heroes festival in Dublin, headlining the Friday night in The Mezz. The Second Album 'A Whole Bunch Of Rivers' has just been released.

    Alan Steil:
Pronounced 'style', Alan is an American living in Ireland! When did this start happening?? Relaxed and ambient, a keyboardist with note perfect vocals.

    Paul Loughran:
With an acoustic guitar compliment this guy plays tunes to get you going. Having been around for a while and done the acoustic circuit around Dublin he's become a name and a face to remember.

Hope some of you can make it along! Should be a great night.
